LCLA Studio
A poetic architecture studio rooted in landscape and form sought a digital platform that reflects their quiet minimalism and conceptual depth. The goal was to translate their visual and spatial sensibility into a clean, intuitive, and fully responsive web experience.
Design Approach and Execution
Concept and Vision
The site was conceived as a digital extension of LCLA’s architectural language—quiet, grounded, and emotionally resonant. Their design values—clarity, nature, and restraint—guided every decision, from typography to spacing.
Execution
Phase 1 – Research & Analysis
We studied their built work, print material, and previous web presence to understand their tone and aesthetic principles.
Phase 2 – Visual Identity Refinement
While preserving the core brand, we selected a natural color palette and refined layout structure to match their use of material and line.
Phase 3 – UX & UI Design
A static layout was chosen to honor their preference for stillness. Each page follows a natural flow, emphasizing project imagery and subtle typography.
Phase 4 – Development & Responsiveness
A responsive system was developed to ensure consistency across all screen sizes, while maintaining sharpness and clean hierarchy.
LCLA Office, known for merging architecture and landscape through subtle gestures and poetic structures, commissioned a new digital platform that embodies their essence. The goal was to create a calm, precise website that elevates their international presence while remaining faithful to their values of material honesty and spatial integrity. The result is a restrained yet powerful interface where their work takes center stage without superfluous effects, only clear structure and atmospheric resonance.
“The new website feels like an authentic extension of our practice. Whiteframe translated our language into a digital space that is calm, precise, and quietly expressive.”
